Beaufort County provides Dental Insurance through MetLife. The plan includes:

Diagnostic/Preventative Services Annually

       Two (2) Check-ups and cleanings and diagnostic work covered at 100% with no deductible.

Annual $50 Deductible For:

• Basic Services: Oral Surgery, Root Canals, Fillings, General Anesthesia, Repairs of Major Services covered at 80% after deductible
• Major Services: Crowns, Bridges, Dentures, Inlays, Onlays covered at 50% after deductible
• Orthodontics: covered at 50%, with no regard to deductible and a $1,500 lifetime maximum (up to age 19)

Employee only coverage is at no cost, while dependent coverage is at a low cost to the employee.
